Scholarship

The Society of Catholic Scientists, Vancouver Chapter is offering scholarships valued at $1000 and $500 to two undergraduate students enrolled in a science discipline at a post-secondary institution within the Archdiocese of Vancouver. Completed applications must be received by the Feast of All Saints, November 1, 2024, and the winners will be announced at a reception following the Gold Mass. The Gold Mass is a mass for scientists celebrated for the Feast of St. Albert the Great, Doctor of the Church and patron saint of scientists. The 2024 Gold Mass will be celebrated by Archbishop J. Michael Miller at St. Mark’s Parish at UBC on November 20, 2024 at 12:10pm. All are invited to attend.
